The SGS reports behind the material claims on this site — the actual documents, with the report numbers, so you can check them rather than take our word for it.
Why this page exists
Every battery terminal listing on the internet says "aircraft-grade aluminium" or "6061 aluminium". Almost none of them can show you a document. The claim costs nothing to print and nothing to fake, which is exactly why it stopped meaning anything.
We paid an independent laboratory to test our parts and we are publishing what came back — including the report numbers, so an SGS report can be traced rather than admired.

Measured composition — A6061-T6
Report KK-25-09211A included a full chemical composition analysis by optical emission spectrometer (Thermo ARL 8860), tested to ASTM E1251-17a. This is the measured composition of our own part, not a copy of a material supplier's datasheet.

How conductivity was measured
All three reports use the same method, so the numbers are comparable with each other.

What %IACS means. IACS is the International Annealed Copper Standard — pure annealed copper is defined as 100%. A figure of 48% IACS means the metal conducts at 48% of that reference. It is the standard way to compare how well a conductive alloy actually conducts, and it is the number that matters at a battery terminal, where the whole job is moving current across a joint without losing voltage to resistance.
For context, aluminium alloys in the 6061 family typically fall in the 40s on this scale depending on temper and processing. We publish the measured figure for each series rather than a single headline number, because they are not identical and pretending otherwise would be the same shortcut we are trying to avoid.

What these reports do and do not say
- They are test reports, not certifications. SGS measured the samples we submitted and reported what they found. As the reports themselves state, the conformity judgment is the applicant's. We are not claiming an SGS approval or endorsement.
- They cover the material, not every dimension of every model. The composition and conductivity results describe the aluminium platform our terminals are machined from.
- Samples were submitted by us. That is how commercial material testing works, and the reports say so plainly on their face. What makes the result checkable is the report number — it is on every page.
- Two fields are redacted in report KK-25-09211A: our street address and our material supplier's company name. Nothing relating to the test, the method or the result has been altered. Everything a buyer would want to verify is intact.
Checking these yourself
Report numbers are printed on every page and are shown above in text form so you can copy them. If you are a distributor, a workshop or a buyer who wants confirmation direct from the laboratory rather than from us, the report number is what you quote.
